- —The fish meal and fish oil production technology has been designed for continuous production on an industrial scale. The Dalyan Aquaculture facility has an annual raw material processing capacity of approximately 25,000–30,000 tonnes, resulting in the production of approximately 9,000–10,000 tonnes of fish meal and fish oil. The system comprises the following stages: raw material reception, cooking, pressing, oil separation, drying, grinding, storage and packaging. The main technical components include cooking units, pressing systems, decanters and separators, dryers, grinding systems, oil storage tanks, a quality control laboratory and waste management infrastructure. The technology has high energy requirements and is supported by continuous process control, hygiene standards and traceability measures to ensure product quality is maintained.
