The aquafarm is located in Kyiv, Promyslova street, 4, on the territory of PAT «Kyivrybgosp». It consists of concrete basins through which purified water from the Dnipro river flows. Water exchange occurs twice an hour. Our farm hosts two species of sturgeon fish: Siberian sturgeon and a hybrid of beluga and sterlet (bester). All females have a numbered chip, and we monitor and analyze their health, the degree of caviar maturity, and weight gain. Using ultrasound, we determine the sex of young fish and the readiness for spawning in mature females. We produce black caviar for sale
